BlackBerry PlayBook

RIM hasn’t shown off its 7-inch BlackBerry PlayBook tablet yet at CES but they’ve fired off some promo videos. One showing off web browsing on the tablet “the way it was meant to be seen” or just viewing content inline, if you will.
(BlackBerry PlayBook shows you the “real” web)

We get to see some inline Flash action via a YouTube video and a flash game on Facebook, together with browsing some sites on desktop versions. Basically, they are trying to say you can browse the web just like you do on your desktop PC, with ‘no compromises’ without having to resort to apps and without any slow downs. That won’t stop developers from making apps of their websites, and in a lot of cases such apps are more optimized for the touch experience.

Netbooks will increase popularity this 2010

This year 2010. we will expect netbooks to rise in sale and production. also we will keep and eye on touchbooks. ever since AsusTek Computer Inc. got the netbook craze going with its 7-inch Eee PC in late 2007, tech consumers have been gravitating to the devices. According to data from research company Gartner Inc., netbooks made up an estimated 10 percent of all PC shipments in 2009, up from 4 percent a year earlier and expected to rise this year 2010.

These devices had small screens — generally 7 to 11 inches, compared with about 14 to 17 inches on a full-sized laptop — and often smaller-than-normal keyboards. PC makers kept prices down by avoiding extras such as DVD drives and Bluetooth wireless connectivity.

Netbooks and touchbooks are the way to go in your Mobile Life.

The Compaq CQ61z is the new laptop with a 15.6-inch laptop with an AMD Sempron CPU, 2GB of RAM, DVD burner with 160GB hard-drive, and discrete graphics. Running Windows 7 Home Premium, the machine costs a nearly unfathomable $399. its just like the price of a netbook, wow! , this is the ultimate cheap laptop from HP (Compaq)

The $400 Compaq laptops arrival, Customers and potential buyers like me Asked this question: Why not buy a laptop with much larger and more capable system for exactly the same price of a netbook? I'm having a hard time seeing any reason not to. Seriously hehehehe..

Even better bargains abound for desktop shoppers. The attractive Compaq Presario 4010f has similar specs (with a 250GB hard drive) and starts at just $309 after a $100 rebate.
